Increased inequality a major challenge for Sweden
In 2015, UN member states adopted “Agenda 2030,” containing 17 global goals for how the world’s countries can work to eradicate extreme poverty, reduce inequality, and solve the climate crisis. Sweden likes to pride itself on its leading role in this work, but unfortunately, Statistics Sweden (SCB) notes that we are falling behind on Goal 10, regarding reduced inequality.
