Martin Asker, licensed naprapath and lecturer at the School of Naprapathy, has held his half-time seminar for his doctoral studies at Karolinska Institutet.

Martin Asker's work is based on data from the KHAST study: Karolinska Handball Study. This project aims to deepen the understanding of shoulder injuries and functional status in young elite handball players. A cohort of approximately 400 players, aged 15–17, from handball academies in Sweden, is being followed over two seasons regarding shoulder injuries, training, and matches.
