
The following entry requirements apply to our study programs.
General entry requirements for higher education.
General study competence.
If you have foreign grades, you need a statement regarding your foreign education – an assessment by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Swedish as a Second Language 1-3 and English are required.
We are happy to help you calculate your points based on your grades and merit points. We can also answer questions about what you can do to improve your chances of being admitted. Selection is based on grades from upper secondary school, adult education (komvux), and folk high school.
Applicants are placed in different quota groups based on whether their grades are from Sweden, Norway, or other countries.

Applicants to our programs with fully or partially completed education in healthcare may, after individual assessment, be granted credit for parts of these academic merits for continued studies at NIMM.

If you have completed a course that corresponds to any of NIMM's courses in terms of content and credits, you can apply for credit transfer. For questions regarding credit transfer, please contact education advisor Linda Ladenstedt.
