The Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) has been commissioned by the government to follow up on the consequences of the pandemic for higher education. Interim reports 1 and 2 have now been published and will be followed by two additional reports later this year.

These reports provide the foundation for how the School of Naprapathy will develop and shape its upcoming curriculum. Although restrictions have been lifted and parts of our daily lives are returning to what we might call "normal," our perspective on higher education has changed.
Perhaps the most interesting question is how students experienced the period during which teaching had to be adapted. The Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) presents this in their report, "Studentspegeln 2021 - Studenters upplevelser av att studera under coronapandemin" (Student Mirror 2021 - Students' experiences of studying during the coronavirus pandemic). It shows that despite the major shift to distance learning during the pandemic, the majority of students in the survey rated their education highly, with 77% stating that the overall quality of their education was quite good or very good during the pandemic. Corresponding data from the School of Naprapathy indicates similar results (Reader Survey 2020-21). This is very satisfying, given that large parts of the naprapathy program consist of practical or clinical components, which are naturally extra challenging to adapt.
