Politicians in our neighboring country have finally understood the benefits of naprapathy for public health and musculoskeletal issues. This also serves as recognition that naprapathy is based on science and proven experience, and therefore belongs within the general healthcare system alongside other medical specialties. Licensed naprapaths are subject to the same laws as other healthcare professionals, which is a fundamental prerequisite for increased collaboration between naprapaths and other healthcare staff. This fosters greater interaction with other professional groups, which ultimately benefits the patient. Patients also receive a quality assurance regarding the individual naprapath's expertise and professional suitability.
The decision is also a major recognition for the School of Naprapathy, confirming that the education is of such high quality that it can serve as the basis for licensure in both Sweden and Norway.
The School of Naprapathy now looks forward to welcoming more prospective students from Norway!
