The goal of the School of Naprapathy is to offer students a scientific, profession-oriented, and pedagogical learning environment with a clear research connection and close ties to their future professional lives.
To achieve this, collaboration with students, the student union, other higher education institutions, industry organizations, and the professional world is of great importance. All of these factors influence the conditions for the learning process and are something the School of Naprapathy is constantly working to further develop.
In the "Framework for Systematic Quality Work at the School of Naprapathy," which is currently in the final stages of revision, collaboration is specifically highlighted as a key component for enabling teaching and research in accordance with our operational goals.
Current collaborative projects with the student union include promoting the "Equal Treatment Plan at the School of Naprapathy and the equal value of all people," as well as disseminating information about the union's important mission. Together with the Swedish Naprapathic Association (SNF) and the Norwegian Naprapathic Association (NNF), a "declaration of collaboration" is currently being drafted to clarify how we can work together to solidify the role of naprapathy and spread knowledge about the profession in society at large. The goal is for this collaboration to strengthen both the education and the profession, both internally—among students and practicing naprapaths—and externally, toward stakeholders of the educational program, patient groups, authorities, and the wider community.
Current collaborative projects include the employer survey, which examines employers' views on core competencies and the employability of graduated naprapaths, as well as an ongoing dialogue with the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the internship year following graduation.
The important research collaboration with Sophiahemmet University continues throughout the academic year, with plans to resume research activities at the School of Naprapathy's clinic in the near future.
We look forward with optimism to our continued enriching and successful collaboration!
