The School of Naprapathy is collaborating with the Swedish Naprapathic Association on the revision and review of the "Safety Manual for Naprapaths." Advanced manual medicine is a field that has grown significantly over time, and with 1.5–2 million treatments per year, naprapaths represent the largest group in Sweden.

Since a large portion of the population chooses naprapathic treatment every year, it is of great importance to create conditions that ensure the treatment methods used by a naprapath can be performed safely and effectively. Part of these conditions involves the therapist being aware of both the indications and contraindications for various treatment methods.
Several external reviewers have been invited to participate in the revision and review process. The work is expected to be completed by the summer.
The purpose is for the document to serve as a foundation for the clinically practicing naprapath as well as a resource during their education.
