Starting in the spring semester of 2016, the School of Naprapathy is introducing a new study plan, as decided by the Education Board during the autumn semester of 2015.
The reasons for introducing the new study plan are as follows:
The updated study plan primarily involves new course names. No major changes have been made to the course structures, apart from minor adjustments to the number of credits for certain courses.
The subject blocks in the Naprapathy Program are now as follows: Anatomy, Physiology, Medicine, Sports Medicine, Naprapathy, and Research Methodology. This means that the pain course is now included in the "Medicine" subject block.
We are also introducing a new grading scale: VG = Pass with Distinction, G = Pass, and U = Fail.
For those of you who have already started a course during the autumn semester of 2015 that continues into the spring semester of 2016, the old course name will remain on transcripts, final grades, etc.
We hope that the new study plan will make all courses in the Naprapathy Program more cohesive, clear, and pedagogical, and that the content of the various courses will be even easier to understand.
All changes resulting from the new study plan will shortly be visible under the heading Study plan and course syllabi but you can already download the new study plan as a PDF below.
