Today, many newspapers, radio stations, and television programs have reported that a healthy lifestyle is important for avoiding long-term back pain. The coverage concerns research conducted at MUSIC – The Musculoskeletal Intervention Center at Karolinska Institutet, a collaboration between KI, Uppsala University, and the School of Naprapathy.
The article “Does a healthy lifestyle behaviour influence the prognosis of low back pain among men and women in a general population? A population-based cohort study” is part of Tony Bohman’s doctoral thesis, which was supervised by, among others, Eva Skillgate, President of the School of Naprapathy. Skillgate also presented the study’s findings at the XII International Back Pain Forum in Brazil in the autumn of 2014.
