Naprapathy Day is a themed day organized annually by the School of Naprapathy student union. The purpose is to raise awareness of naprapathy in society and to build connections with other healthcare providers.
The theme this year is "The Student," with a focus on working towards better and closer connections with other students, as well as learning, discussing, and reasoning clinically across the school's different classes.
Traditionally, all proceeds from the School of Naprapathy clinic on Naprapathy Day are donated to charity. Previous years' contributions have gone to organizations such as SOS Children's Villages and a major school project in the Maasai village of Kwamadule in Tanzania. This year's contribution will go to the UNHCR, which, on behalf of the UN, works to help people fleeing war and persecution.
To conclude the day, the student union will host a FuckUp Night for the school's students—an evening where we highlight and celebrate mistakes for the purpose of learning. FuckUp Night is inspired by a global movement that started in Mexico and has spread worldwide, with FuckUp Nights held several times a year. In the original version, entrepreneurs come to share stories about some of their mistakes.
