When the pandemic broke out, the School of Naprapathy initiated a collaboration with Danderyd Hospital (DS), one of Sweden's largest emergency hospitals, to provide support during a time when the healthcare system was under extreme pressure.
Parts of the clinical training within the naprapathy program were relocated to DS to help alleviate the critical situation.
The students received an introduction and were then able to serve as assistant nursing aides. The collaboration was highly successful from the perspective of both the students and the hospital. Our students received excellent feedback, and their contributions were greatly appreciated. Evaluations show that the naprapathy students have “high competence, great commitment, and a tremendous willingness to learn.” You couldn't ask for better feedback!
During the ongoing fourth wave, DS has once again requested assistance. Thank you for your continued trust, and hopefully, many more students will take the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution!
