Naprapathy Day is organized annually by the Student Union at the School of Naprapathy. On this day, all proceeds from the college clinic are donated to charity. In 2015, the Student Union, in consultation with the college, selected UNHCR as the recipient of this year's contribution, which totaled 22,800 SEK.
On behalf of the UN, UNHCR works to help people fleeing war and persecution. The organization strives to protect human rights, distribute emergency aid, and provide refugees with the opportunity for a better future.
Refugees have often been forced to leave everything behind for a perilous journey toward safety. UNHCR is present in all major conflicts, providing people with emergency aid such as food, water, medical care, and shelter. Most refugees want to return home, but when that is not possible, UNHCR gives them a chance to rebuild their lives.
This is what UNHCR wrote to thank us for our contribution.

With your support, we can provide refugees with protection, food, clean water, and other essential supplies to meet the urgent needs of those fleeing persecution and violence. Your help makes a difference and enables us to continue assisting thousands of families forced to leave their homes. December 22, 2015”
