How do you make life "add up" as a student? How do you make "time enough"? How do you find "balance in your studies"?
The transition from high school to university studies can present significant challenges. University-level work requires students to take personal responsibility for their learning, which places high demands on the individual. Success requires motivation, self-discipline, focus, and planning. Mastering study techniques is therefore a vital tool for academic success and a way to reduce stress.
The School of Naprapathy is committed to supporting our students by investing resources in study techniques. This is being achieved through an expanded collaboration with Rudi Bjerregaard, an educational consultant at Stockholm University. Rudi has previously held seminars on study techniques during the introductory week of the naprapathy program.
A weekly workshop on study techniques is now scheduled and open to all students at the college. During these sessions, students will receive support with areas such as study habits and planning, reading strategies and techniques, overcoming procrastination, motivation, and developing an academic mindset.
With the right study techniques, we hope that more students will find a good structure for their student life and have enough time for things other than "just studying"...!
