Eva Skillgate, President of the School of Naprapathy, has participated in the XIII International Back Pain Forum in Brazil. This was the sixth time the School of Naprapathy was represented at the congress and, as in previous years, we contributed with a presentation.
This has contributed to naprapaths as a professional group being mentioned several times in presentations covering specialists in the field of back pain!
The congress is attended by leading researchers in the field of back pain. Skillgate's group at KI, the Musculoskeletal & Sports Injury Epidemiology Center (MUSIEC), had four oral presentations and two posters, including work from the doctoral theses of Kari Paanalahti and Lina Palmlöf, both of which were defended in September.
The next congress will return to Europe and will be held in England from May 31 to June 3.
