In practice, this involves initiating, supporting, and implementing research and development initiatives, as well as contributing to knowledge and skills development at the School of Naprapathy. The role includes operational development, monitoring and evaluation, and keeping abreast of research and development trends, as well as identifying key areas for development. The assignment also involves fostering collaboration with other higher education institutions, professional organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
Martin qualified as a naprapath in 2005 and has worked as both a teacher and supervisor since 2007. He received his PhD from Karolinska Institutet in 2019 with the thesis “SHOULDER INJURIES IN ADOLESCENT ELITE HANDBALL PLAYERS”.
“I am passionate about clinical and field-based research, as well as the implementation of evidence-based medicine in both education and clinical practice. That is why this role feels very exciting and rewarding, and I look forward to many interesting projects. I also look forward to many fruitful research and development collaborations with other research groups and universities.”
