Within the framework of the revised systematic quality work initiated in 2022, the Education Board at the School of Naprapathy has been tasked with developing a quality plan containing three central focus areas.
At the beginning of the current academic year, the members agreed to direct their efforts toward areas based on development proposals from the external review panel that conducted the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) audit during the 2023-24 academic year. These focus areas aim to systematically improve the quality of the education and achieve long-term goals. The plan includes specific objectives, strategies, and measures for each area, which are carefully monitored and evaluated to ensure continuous quality development of the study program.
During the 2024-25 academic year, we are continuing to strengthen the quality of our education by specifically highlighting the following focus areas: interprofessional collaboration, the balance between science and proven experience, and patient-safe care. Our goal is to increase opportunities for students to collaborate with other healthcare professions through strengthened interprofessional cooperation. This better prepares students for professional life, where teamwork is essential for high-quality patient care. Regarding the balance between science and proven experience, we ensure that the education is continuously updated and adapted to current research. Our goal is to ensure that students receive an evidence-based and clinically relevant education. Finally, patient-safe care is an area we are continuously improving. Through clear routines and systematic follow-up, we work to ensure high quality in care.
We are proud of the progress we have made, and with these investments in quality work, we are well-equipped to continue developing the study program and preparing our students for the demands of future healthcare environments!
