Today, fourth-year students at the School of Naprapathy are presenting their degree projects. Writing a degree project at the School of Naprapathy involves the student independently planning, conducting, and reporting on a project that serves as an in-depth study within the field of naprapathy.
The work may have a quantitative or qualitative approach and must use relevant scientific methodology to answer a clear and well-defined research question.
The project aims to further develop the student's ability to independently integrate and apply knowledge within scientific methodology as well as naprapathic theory and/or practice. The project also aims to provide the student with an understanding of research, as well as preparation for and interest in continued development and research work within the field of naprapathy.
Students present their degree projects orally, with students from the sixth semester acting as opponents. The work is examined by an examiner with a doctoral degree, typically at the associate professor level or higher, from another college or university.
