Many of you are surely familiar with Eva. She was the principal of the School of Naprapathy until 2015, when I took over. Eva is a licensed naprapath, public health scientist, and research group leader for MUSIC (Musculoskeletal & Sports Injury Epidemiology Center). The MUSIC group conducts clinically relevant research on musculoskeletal epidemiology and sports medicine.

Professor at Sophiahemmet University

Since 2019, Eva has been a professor of nursing science at Sophiahemmet University. Her goal is to increase knowledge about why long-term ailments and injuries in muscles, joints, the back, and the neck occur, and how they can be prevented, diagnosed, and treated.
Chronic pain is a massive public health issue that receives far too little attention and research funding. Eva wants to change that! Her research efforts in the field were recognized at this year's FoMM (Forum on Manual Medicine) with the "Naprapath of the Year" award. Congratulations!

The School of Naprapathy Scientific Council

In her role as an adjunct professor at the School of Naprapathy, Eva will chair the college's Scientific Council (NVR). The goal of the NVR is to promote a scientific approach among the college's faculty and students.
Read more about the NVR under the heading Organization.
I am grateful that Eva can now be appointed as an adjunct professor at the college, and I look forward to continued stimulating and creative collaboration with such an extremely competent and wonderful person!
The photo was taken in 2007 at Eva's doctoral dinner when she presented her thesis “Back and Neck pain. Epidemiological studies on some risk factors and treatments, including Naprapathic Manual Therapy” which was the first thesis to demonstrate the effects of naprapathy. Also pictured is Inger Berg, co-founder and current Chair of the Board for the School of Naprapathy.
