The School of Naprapathy, in partnership with Sophiahemmet University, is offering a course in higher education pedagogy at the advanced level. The college has a clear academic objective, and a vital piece of this puzzle is ensuring that our teachers and supervisors have completed training in pedagogy at the university level.
The School of Naprapathy, in collaboration with Sophiahemmet University, is now offering a course in higher education pedagogy with a focus on supervising master's theses. This initiative is part of the college's ongoing commitment to enhancing the pedagogical expertise of our faculty. To this end, we have worked with Sophiahemmet University to tailor a professional development program specifically focused on pedagogy and student supervision.
The course is led by Martin Asker, Head of Research and Development at the School of Naprapathy and a researcher at both the college and Sophiahemmet University. A key component of the course is the supervision of students during their thesis work, which will be the primary focus. As part of the curriculum, participants will supervise two thesis projects at the college, using them as practical learning tools throughout the process—from the initial project plan to the final report.
We are constantly working to strengthen pedagogical competence at the School of Naprapathy, and we are thrilled that this project has now come to fruition!
