Today, October 16th, is “World Spine Day,” which highlights the problems caused by back issues worldwide. This year’s theme is “BACK ON TRACK.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people around the world in various ways, not least in their ability to stay active and mobile. “BACK ON TRACK” aims to encourage people to reactivate their bodies by getting out and moving. “BACK ON TRACK” highlights the importance of exercise, posture, movement, and good self-care to ensure spinal health. Taking care of your back can range from taking regular breaks at work to implementing more active exercise routines.
Since last year, the School of Naprapathy has been an “Official World Spine Day Supporter.” The college marks the day by offering free initial consultations for patients with back and neck problems at the college clinic.
